REBUILDING TOGETHER, INGHAM COUNTY

(FORMERLY - CHRISTMAS IN APRIL)  

In 1993 a group of civic minded citizens of Ingham County joined

 a national movement to rehabilitate homes of their low

 income elderly and handicapped neighbors.  300 plus homes

 later we are still thriving.  Many homeowners work hard all

 their life to maintain their homes.  Too often aging, illness

 and limited income make it impossible to keep their homes safe

 and in good repair.  Our all volunteer board works hard all

 year to raise funds, organize volunteer groups and screen

needy applicants for the one day blitz on the last Saturday in

 April.  We do ~25 homes/year on that one April Saturday.  The

 key to our success has been people like you, fellow Ingham

County residents, that give your time, working hands and

 financial support to make homes safe and warm.
